This spring we are hosting an educational dinner and garden tour to promote and expand our local school garden network.
We will begin with a tour through the lovely edible gardens followed by a farm-to-school dinner featuring produce from the campus garden and surrounding local farms.
Executive Chef, Ron Askew, will share the inspiration behind Forest Ridge’s school gardens and take us through his journey to make them a reality. We will also discuss campus honey bee programs, curriculum-based gardening and cooking in schools.
