We’re getting together at Maize & Barley during happy hour to launch a food drive benefiting the Edmonds Food Bank! Drop by anytime between 3-6pm to chat with us, enjoy happy hour pours and snacks from Chef Anthony Kjeldsen and Venus Forteza, and help feed our community.

The food drive will run from November 12 - November 22, but feel free to drop off food items any time during regular business hours — Wed-Sat, 12-9pm.
We’re focusing on healthy, high-quality pantry staples that are nourishing—things like canned chicken, nuts, dried or canned fruits (no sugar added), brown rice, chili, masa, couscous, flour, and more. Please check the Edmonds Food Bank website for more information on food items and non-grocery essentials.
Located in the heart of downtown Edmonds, Maize & Barley, one of our Snail of Approval awardees, serves local craft beer and tacos with sustainable ingredients and a delicious Caribbean flair.
Anthony and Venus’s menu reflects their deep commitment to sourcing from local farmers, fishers, and producers who care about the land and how food is grown, raised, and caught. Nearly everything on the menu is made by hand, including the cheeses and their lovely handmade corn tortillas.
